• The International Building Code, 2018 edition. Sedona, AZ Muni. Code § 15.05.010 (adoption) with amendments at § 15.05.020.
• The International Residential Code, 2018 edition, including Appendices A, B, C, G, J, K, N, O, P, Q, R, S, and T. Sedona, AZ Muni. Code § 15.05.030 (adoption) with amendments at § 15.05.040.
• The International Existing Building Code, 2018 edition. Sedona, AZ Muni. Code § 15.40.010 (adoption) with amendments at § 15.40.020.

Residential Building Code

Arizona has yet to adopt a statewide residential code. Local laws will control.See PLRB, Arizona Building Codes for more information on state level codes.

Sedona adopted the 2018 IRC, locally. Note that adoptions usually come with amendments. So, it is important to review those amendments in addition to the unamended model code.

Contacted Steve Mertes, Chief Building Official, (7/31/2020) who informed us that ice barriers are not required.

The design criteria required of Table R301.2(1) are established as follows:
